Did you know that applying repellent correctly can save you from contracting diseases transmitted by mosquitoes such as dengue, zika and chikungunya fever?
The use of repellent becomes essential every time we have outdoor activities, not only to avoid the inconvenience of bites, but also to avoid diseases. That is why at Bye Bites we want to share the correct way to apply it with a few simple steps:
Before starting, you must have the skin ready.
In other words, before applying the repellent you will have already applied your moisturizer and sunscreen.
1-If you have spray repellent…
First you must shake it and apply it in a vertical position, at a distance between 15 and 20 cm. And if the repellent is a cream, be sure to create a layer, in both cases, evenly on exposed skin.
EYE: Do not apply it on cuts, wounds, irritated or sunburned skin.
2- Apply it with your hands!
When continuing with your face, remember that it is best to spray the palm of your hand first and then distribute the product over the face and behind the ears.
DON’T FORGET to apply to ankles and elbows.
